City Council offers 50% discounts on property payments for vulnerable sectors – El Sol de San Luis

The Government of the Capital, through the Municipal Treasury, announced that the 50 percent discount in the payment of the property tax is in force, specifically for the elderly, people with disabilities, retirees and pensioners, for which it was made I urge these sectors to make this benefit valid.

Likewise, this discount applies to members of indigenous peoples; In any of these cases, the property must be in your name for the application of the reduction to proceed, which will be valid not only during this month, but until March 2023.

For any questions, the urge was made to approach the municipal offices to find out the requirements to make the 50% discount valid, for these specific sectors of the population of Potosi.

For the general public, the Treasury of the San Luis Potosí City Hall reminded that during January a 15 percent discount is applied, and to avoid lines, punctual payment can be made directly at various banking institutions such as BBVA, Banorte, Banregio, Citibanamex, HSBC, Banbajio and Scotiabank.

Likewise, payment can be made at the Caja Real del Potosí, in addition to the fixed municipal collection boxes and soon, the mobile ones that will travel through different parts of the city so that more people from Potosí comply with this contribution, whose resources are reinvested in works , actions and projects of high social impact.

Finally, it was announced that the property tax can be settled through the official application, or by scanning the QR code, that is, there are various ways to expedite the payment of the property tax and also avoid saturation in municipal offices.
