“At this moment, no adjustment is being considered within the structure of the Cabinet of collaborators of the state president, Ricardo Gallardo,” said the head of the General Secretariat of Government, José Guadalupe Torres Sánchez.

The state official reiterated that performance evaluations continue permanently, “full-time officials are required, committed and who deliver results, what it is about is achieving the best results for San Luis Potosí.”

He warned that the governance conditions that prevailed in the San Luis Potosí territory at the end of the year “are the result of good coordination and permanent work with the 58 municipalities, to find out the specific conditions that exist in each locality.”

Security is a permanent job and it is what we pay attention to all the time, and in which we ask the 58 mayors for joint responsibility, to help us with that.

In another order of ideas, the person in charge of internal politics in the state announced that the State Attorney General’s Office opened an investigation folder, against Hermes N., director of Public Works of the Huasteco municipality of Tampamolón Corona.

On the night of December 31, the aforementioned public servant carried out several detonations in the air with a high-powered firearm, for which reason Torres Sánchez criticized this behavior and regretted that despite the extensive campaign carried out to prevent these acts from being committed , would have been done by a municipal official.

The investigation folder would be based on the fact that the rifle used is for the exclusive use of the armed forces, “it will be the FGE, which will determine how to proceed against the municipal official.”
